Koski Golf is a beautiful 18 hole course in Finland. The golf course uses the stunning Finnish scenery to create an enjoyable and pleasant layout. The holes are predominantly flat through the front 9 but it starts to come to life after you make the turn. With Pine trees guarding the greens and fairways, changes in hole elevation and some fantastic views out to the Kymi River, the back 9 is what makes this course. Unfortunately when i visited the golf course had suffered from the harsh, frosty winter so the greens and fairways had seen better days, but come back when the fairways come back to life and the course would be even more beautiful.

There is a bit of travel involved in getting to Koski Golf, but luckily the Finnish countryside is a pleasure to drive through. Located around a 1:45hr drive from Helsinki, Koski Golf may be a little further than most would want to travel. The local town of Kuusankoski doesn’t really offer too many hotels either which is a shame. I would still recommend a trip here but plan to head back to Helsinki afterward otherwise you may feel a little isolated.
